You have a very special friend right now. Someone who is seeking your company. This person longs to spend time with you, to speak to you, to confide in you, to share ideas with you. This person is your most loyal friend. You may not know Him but He knows you through and through.
His name is Jesus.
Jesus makes your heart beat right now. He makes your blood circulate through your veins. He gives you your life’s breath this very moment.
He is gentle and kind and merciful and just. He knows your pain. He knows your sufferings. He knows your needs. He knows your longings and desires and dreams. He wants to fulfill all your dreams and more.
Will you let Him?
Jesus knocks on the door of your heart every moment.
Will you answer?
Jesus created you so He would have someone with whom He could communicate and share life; someone to walk with in the cool of the day, someone with whom He could share ideas, goals and dreams; someone with whom to discuss resolutions to concerns and challenges; someone with whom He could have a real conversation; someone with plans, visions and purpose; someone to whom He could infuse something special and unique into every fiber of his or her being.
Most of all – He wanted someone to love – and someone who would love Him back.
Will you be that person?
Jesus is looking for someone who longs to hear His wisdom; someone who lives to rejoice with Him over the marvels of His creation; someone He can trust to share His secrets with; someone He can partner with; someone who recognizes the wisdom of His every word and perform it, blessing Him as much as He longs to bless them.
Will you be that person?
Jesus placed eternity in your heart – a mysterious part of His essence that will not only fill this lifetime on earth with wonder, but also continue to give joy and meaning to your life onto eternity with Him. You were born with a divine quest, a longing to know God and to be fully known by Him; a longing for intimacy with God – the insatiable appetite of the heart that is never satisfied without experiencing more and more of Him.
Will you follow that call?
Jesus is waiting at the door of your heart right now, longing to give you an abundance of gifts.
When you answer His call and open your heart to Him, you become an heir of promises beyond your wildest hopes and imaginings!
Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. (1 Corinthians 2:9)
No matter the limitations in your life, God can surpass them.
God is limitless, boundless, all-knowing, all-powerful. He has all things at His disposal. He has infinite means and ways to help you, heal you, strengthen you!
He is the King of kings and Lord of Lords and commands all of the Heavenly hosts, yet He is gentle and kind and such a gentleman that He will come only when you ask Him to.
Will you ask Him?
You have a friend in Jesus.
